10. Buttons

The push buttons allow the gun user to operate the gun. Typically two are used on a FragTag system; one for reloading when you run out of ammo, and one for changing the firing mode (full auto, single shot, burst fire.)

If a secondary weapon (eg grenade launcher) is fitted, a third button is needed to fire it.

The buttons need to be momentary action, that is the activate only when held in. They should be mounted in a position that is easy to access, and we recommend labelling them as "LOAD" and "MODE" to save confusion.
